WELCOME to the Rope and Wire General Store.

As small towns in the frontier west began to populate the landscape, men with vision followed close behind. Freight companies were kept busy supplying these communities and the surrounding farms and ranches. They delivered an assortment of goods and sundry, from fancy linen to the latest farm tools, from cowboy hats and boots to candy like peppermint and chocolate. The general store was a freighters distribution point. Here is where a person could find, or order, almost anything of need or want. As the town grew, so did its needs. And the general store, it grew right along with the community.

The way I see it, Rope and Wire is like a small western community.

And like any small community, Rope and Wire needs a way to support itself as it grows. I think we’re big enough for our own general store. So here it is, in all its humble beginnings. I hope the western merchandise is in line with what you might be looking for as you shop online.
