Montana's Waitin' for Me

When I'm a man I'm gonna wear chaps,
I'm gonna be a cowboy, perhaps--
'Cause right now I'm thinkin'
Of where I'd like to be . . .
Montana's waitin' for me!

I'm gonna have a ranch with lots of cattle
Spend my time sittin' in the saddle,
Out on the range where I can see---
Montana's waitin' for me!

It just might be one day I'll meet
A special someone, true and sweet--
Together we'll raise a family
In that big sky country (cun-ter-ee)!

Montana---I love your mountains,
Your blue skies make me feel free,
Montana's the place where I belong--
Yep, Montana's waitin' for me!
