CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES
1/3 cup of margarine
¾ cup of sugar
1 egg
½ teaspoon of salt
1 ½ cups of sifted cake flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/3 cup of cocoa
¾ cup of milk
Set the oven at 350 degrees
Grease pans for 18 cupcakes
Blend the margarine, sugar, egg and salt together
Sift the flour with the baking powder and cocoa
Add alternately with the milk to the margarine
Mix well after each addition
Pour into the cupcake pans filling each one about 2/3 full
Bake for about 20 minutes
Remove from the oven and let stand for 5 minutes
Remove from the pan and let cool
