Western Television
Welcome to the western television section of Rope and Wire. For over twenty years western tv had its day. From the 1950's and well into the 1970's these weekly westerns were in high demand. During this time over fifty different western themed shows created thousands of diverse and exciting episodes. I'll be the first to admit that some of these shows were less than stellar. They quickly became apparent to the viewing public and only lasted a season or two, while others captured the imagination of the masses and were broadcast for close to twenty years.
