The Great Train Robbery (1903)
In 1903, an employee of Thomas Edison's motion picture company produced a movie with a story. It was called "The Great Train Robbery." It told a simple story of a group of western criminals who steal money from a train.
The Law Commands (1937)
Tom Keene plays a country doctor who helps homesteaders in Johnson County Iowa stop the night riders who are driving them out by exchanging his doctor's bag for a Sheriff's badge.
The Mysterious Rider (1938)
Escaping from the Marshal, Billy (Buster Crabbe) and Fuzzy (Al St. John) ride to Laramy only to find it a ghost town.
Sykes (John Merton) and his gang have driven people away while they look for the gold mine of a man they have killed.
The Outlaw (1943)
Scandalous for it's time, "The Outlaw" directed by Howard Hughes, is the story of Billy the Kid, Doc Holiday, and Pat Garrett. The plot is thin at best, but we are introduced to a 22 year old Jane Russell which makes the film almost worthwhile.
The Pecos Kid (1936)
A gang of robbers steals the deed to the Pecos Ranch and kill the family. The young son escapes, and years later he returns to the ranch to find the killers and reclaim his property.
The Phantom Cowboy (1935)
Harkness controls Boulder Pass and his men are overcharging the ranches for its usage. When Tom Cameron steps in to rob the tollgate keepers and return the money to the ranchers, he gets caught.
The Silver Trail (1937)
When the partner of Bob Crandall is missing after he finds a gold claim, Crandall goes to look for him (but not before hearing a few country songs).
The Way Of The West (1934)
Cattlemen and sheepherders battle it out to see who can make their home on the range.
Trail Riders (1942)
