Ranch Romances

Romance has been written into western short stories ever since the advent of the dime novel and pulp westerns. But during the heyday of the "B" western, Hollywood brought their version of Ranch Romances onto the big screen and into the homes of millions of television viewers. It was a huge success for the western movie industry and a big boost to the authors who wrote western novels.

Romance stories have always been, and will remain a part of the traditional western genre. A western website that promotes western authors and doesn't include them would be incomplete.
